Board an Argosy Cruise and sight see Puget Sound. The Waterfront is a superb location for spectacular Seattle sunsets. Cultural buffs might head to the Seattle Art Museum or catch a performance at Benaroya Hall - a few blocks inland to the east. Head along Pike to Third Avenue toward shoppers paradise, Westlake Center. Or, continue up Pike and catch a theatrical production at the Paramount Theatre. For more awesome views of the city, follow the waterfront north to the Space Needle at the Seattle Center. Here you’ll find Key Arena, Pacific Science Center and the IMAX Theater, the Experience Music Project, and the Children’s Museum. Seattle Center Fisher Pavilion and Seattle Center are where many of the city’s popular local and annual events are held -- Bumbershoot, the Bite of Seattle, and Independence Day celebrations. A few blocks south of Pike’s Market is the renown Elliot Bay Bookstore, Chinatown, Qwest Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks, and Safeco Field of the Seattle Mariners.
