History comes alive at the Nordic Heritage Museum where contemporary artists and community activities combine to present the bonds linking Scandinavian people in the Northwest.  The museum is the only museum in the United States to honor the legacy of immigrants from the five Nordic countries of Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Finland.

Hours: Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 am–4:00 pm;
Sunday, 12:00 pm–4:00 pm.

Closed: Mondays, New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and
Christmas Day. All holidays are subject to change without notice.
 
Take Metro: Routes 17, 44 from the University District, transferring to westbound route 17 at 24th Ave NW and Market Streets
