Free general admission to Seattle Metropolitan Police Museum is included with your Go Card.

Located in historic Pioneer Square, the Seattle Metropolitan Police Museum is the largest in the western U.S.   Founded in 1997, the Seattle Metropolitan Police Museum displays the cultural, technological, and historical developments of the Seattle Police and King County Sheriff’s Office. View a vast array of antique documents, photographs, weaponry, uniforms, and much more that assisted police in the taming of Seattle from its violent and corrupt frontier beginnings to what has now developed into one of the most professional law enforcement agencies in the United States. A children’s interactive area lets kids try on police uniforms, examine a real jail cell, and use their imaginations.

Hours: Tuesday–Saturday, 11:00 am–4:00 pm

Closed: Sundays, Mondays, and all major U.S. holidays. All holidays are subject to change without notice.

Take Metro: Routes 1, 2, 4, 7, 13, 14, 32, 36, 70, 84, 85 to Third Avenue South and South Main Street.
